CES, Inc. names Pete Tuell, PE and Dennis Kingman, CHMM as Vice-Presidents
BREWER, MAINE – CES, Inc., a Maine-based firm of engineers, environmental scientists, and land surveyors, announced today that Dennis Kingman and Pete Tuell have been named as Vice Presidents. Both work out of CES’ headquarters in Brewer.
“We are pleased to announce two new officers of our corporation, Dennis and Pete who have over 50 years of combined experience in their fields of environmental science and engineering. Their appointments as Vice Presidents are recognition of their talent, expertise, and leadership that bring our clients’ goals to fruition,” said CES President/CEO Denis St. Peter.
A graduate of the University of Maine, Kingman has over 25 years of experience providing asbestos and lead and PCB management; occupational health and safety consultation; and environmental management services to industry, academic institutions, and local, state, and federal government.
“Whether he is conducting an asbestos inspection, assisting us with our recent acquisition, or supervising the environmental work of our talented scientists and engineers, Dennis pays close attention to detail while maintaining a big picture perspective,” said Senior Vice President and Environmental Division Director John Pond.
Prior to working at CES, Kingman worked for Summit Environmental Consultants before it was acquired by CES in 2013. He is a certified hazardous materials manager and serves on the Maine Indoor Air Quality Council Board of Directors.
After graduating from the University of Maine, Tuell joined CES in 1988. He specializes in Structural Engineering and helps public and private clients with all phases of design and construction.
“Pete’s direct and straightforward approach is appreciated by both his colleagues and clients but his true skill is the ingenuity he brings to solving problems and alleviating potential concerns from the drawing table,” said Senior Vice President and Engineering Division Director Travis Noyes.
CES, Inc. provides civil and environmental consulting and land surveying services to both public and private clients. In business since 1978, CES employs approximately 70 professionals across six offices located in Brewer, Bar Harbor, Lewiston, Machias, Presque Isle, and Waterville.
