Phil Badger - Kay Allcroft

With new hire, electrical engineering services are now a part of CES’ suite of services

 

BREWER, MAINE – CES, Inc., a Maine-based firm of engineers, environmental scientists, and land surveyors, is pleased to announce that Philip Badger, PE, has recently joined the Brewer office as Senior Project Engineer and Master Electrician. In addition, CES Human Resources Director, Corporate Risk Manager, and Safety Coordinator, Kay Allcroft is now a Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) Certified Professional (CP).

New Hire:

As a registered Professional Electrical Engineer, Badger brings 28 years of hands-on electrical work, electrical design experience, and project leadership to CES. His recent design experience includes work for healthcare and government clients for new facility construction and upgrades as well as repairs to existing facilities.  His skills include plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, record drawings, material submittal reviews, construction inspection and development of construction programming documents. At CES, Badger will assist clients with primary and secondary electrical distribution, transformers, wiring, interior electrical systems, communications, security, lighting, lighting controls and energy conservation.

With the addition of Badger, CES is better able to serve clients with new construction or renovations through our suite of building services which include structural engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering.

Certification:

Allcroft recently obtained her SHRM-CP, which acknowledges the expertise she brings to CES in her job as HR Director, a role she has held for the past 33 years. The certification recognizes her understanding and abilities to implement policies and strategies, serve as a point of contact for staff and stakeholders, deliver HR services, and perform operational HR functions. Her ability to navigate the ever-changing HR landscape combined with her responsiveness and willingness to tackle any issue serves the company well. Allcroft joined CES in 1982 as a Civil Engineering Technician/Construction Observer.
