Seboomook & Baker Lakes Surveys Wagner Forest Management, LTD.

This project involved a boundary survey of 40,430 acres of land surrounding Seboomook Lake and 1,650 acres of land surrounding Baker Lake located in northern Somerset County, Maine. Approximately 170 property corners were established, monumented, and mapped utilizing Trimble Pro XR sub-meter GPS receivers, the coordinate positions of which refer to UTM Zone 19, NAD 1983, U.S. Survey Feet. The 1073 foot NGVD 1929 contour line surrounding Seboomook Lake was established in order to identify the limits of flowage rights of Great Northern Paper, Inc. Boundary lines were brushed, blazed and painted. Approximately 55 out-parcels and reserved lots within the surveyed lands were identified and mapped. Plans and property descriptions were prepared by CES, Inc. for the transfer of these lands from Merriweather, LLC to the State of Maine.
