CES, Inc. and staff have been trusted advisors for the Town of Newcastle with respect to road maintenance concerns. CES staff assisted the Town with developing and implementing a long range strategy for addressing roads throughout the community. The work included assisting with prioritizing roads based on existing conditions and development of cost estimates for construction. In addition to these services CES has assisted the community with budgeting for both capital expenses associated with road reconstruction and on-going expenses associated with maintenance of the roads.In 2009, CES designed the reconstruction of three existing roads in the community, Lynch Road, Academy Hill Road, and Stonebridge Circle. The latter two roads were rebuilt during the construction season of 2009 and Lynch Road will be built in the summer of 2010.
