CES Names New Director of Environmental Engineering / Sciences


Denis St. Peter, P.E., President of CES, is pleased to announce the promotion of Philip Ruck, P.E. to the position of Director of Environmental Engineering / Sciences. 

Mr. Ruck holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and has over nineteen years of Environmental Science and Engineering experience. Phil has been employed by CES since 2002 and has experience with both environmental and civil engineering projects. Environmental engineering projects include stormwater and waste water discharges, solid and hazardous waste, and pollution prevention and response planning. Civil engineering projects include general site design, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, phosphorus control, and construction specification manual development. He specializes in assisting clients meet Federal and State NPDES Phase II requirements. Specifically, he has developed Stormwater Management Plans for several municipal and State-owned facilities in the Bangor area, and has developed Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans for industrial facilities across the northeastern U.S. Philip also provides training programs to educate clients on stormwater and erosion control issues.
