Hidden Meadows Golf Course
CES, Inc. was retained by the Hidden Meadows Golf Course located in Kenduskeag, Maine to provide engineering services for the development of a dual purpose club house facility.
During the initial phase of the
project, CES facilitated communications with the Owner to clearly
define goals and objectives. During this process, it was identified that
the Owner wanted to create a living space above the first floor of club
house and kitchen areas. This requirement posed a significant
challenge to the design team in the effect that several building code
compliance issues came into play. The dual purpose use and occupancy of
the facility would complicate the process of obtaining Fire Marshal
approval and permits.

In spite of these challenging issues, CES engineers designed the structural framing of the facility and successfully completed separation requirements to obtain Fire Marshal approval and permits. Computer-Aided 3D drawings and renderings were also produced for the Owner.
