Condominium Documentation
In conducting a condominium survey, typically, the Professional Land Surveyor performs a complete
boundary survey of the subject property as well as an interior and
exterior three dimensional survey of the condominium building(s)
itself. A Condominium Survey* results in the preparation of a
condominium plat and supporting plans which depict the boundaries of
the condominium property, uses of certain elements of the property
and units, and horizontal and vertical dimensions of the units to be
sold. The plans become part of the legal documentation upon which
future conveyances of condominium units depend. The Professional
Land Surveyor works closely with the attorney preparing condominium
covenants and/or declarations in order that the plat conforms to the
legal requirements of the governing documents.
